The year is now 2002, and three years have passed since Sonic Adventure came to the Dreamcast. Despite the fact that times change, Sonic still does the same stuff he did circa 1991.Īnd despite all of that, Sonic is still about speed. Although making a recent step from 2D to 3D a few years ago, Sonic is still the same character he was many years ago as a sprite. Man, Sonic the Hedgehog has come a long way. I loved it, and I still play it even after I've mastered it and beat it. Great for the average sonic fan, or just someone looking for a great and thrilling game to play. A really good investment that promises hours of fun. A great game, it really is, so I would give it five stars, maybe four and a half due to minor glitches and faults. You can play this little area endlessly, and still find yourself wanting to play it more and more, watching your choa grow and become strong. Even after you've managed to dominate the game and become a virtuoso at it, you can still be entertained by it, thanks to the Choa garden. There were glitches here and there (The usaul ones, such as people going through walls, see through objects, and other things) but other than these faults, a perfect game. (But the game does tell anyone who's curious enough to know) I only found a few problems with the game after analyzing it.The first major thing was an annoying camera that does not keep the proper angle when your playing. I have put so much time into this game that I really would not like to know how much time I've put into it. It is well worth the price, I gurantee this. Any gamer who loves action, adventure, and a thrillling game that leaves you wanting to play it again after your finished,I reccomend they invest in this game. You really don't want a Game Over here.First, I'd just like to announce that this was the best game I have ever played and mastered in my life. Also, the rings will reappear, which should refuel your hunt. Losing lives not only lets you keep the pieces you've already found, it also puts the remaining ones on different locations, like in more convenient places.

If you're having problems finding a Master Emerald piece, try losing a life.

Hard mode places the emerald pieces in 3 specific locations that don't change so that you can merely memorize where they are for an easy A rank.

The already confusing piece detection system is even worse than usual, which was already terrible enough for starters, because they just had to make this level that way, didn't they?.

It's worth mentioning that while Meteor Herd also had this atmosphere, it's more understandable as it takes place in a space station.

Bland and forgettable atmosphere it is nothing but space, rocks, asteroids, meteors and planets.

The terrible camera makes navigating through the asteroids even more disorienting.

The only way to escape it is by finding a rocket, but due to how confusing the layout is, players won't know that unless they looked it up online on how to find the rocket.

There's this moon that can catch you in its gravity.

Each asteroid has its own gravity, and Rouge can suddenly attach to one while gliding, completely throwing her off.

You need to find the iron boots, as the Master Emerald pieces can be hidden in steel containers.

The hint televisions are reversed for no reason.

It is very difficult to get an A rank on this stage for collecting emeralds, except for Hard mode.

Granted, this is the Dark Story's final treasure hunting level, but even that's a bit overwhelming.
